The Future is Now is a bitter representation of one's need to cling to the past, due to the pain of living in the present. Using vaporwave aesthetics, the viewer is transported into the artist's past. There, various images are shown: a figurine, decrepit streets, trees, the moon and so on. The pictures are presented with a certain warmth and melancholy; they are captured moments that can never be replicated. Suddenly, the scene switches into that of a retro adventure game; there, a woman tempts the viewer into abandoning all future prospects for the sake of nostalgic bliss.
