The Tale of Joan

PART I

A long time ago, there was a war that broke out between an empire and a small kingdom. The kingdom was vastly outnumbered and lost a great many soldiers in the ensuing battles.

PART II

Strangely, among the many corpses on the battlefield, stood a glowing sword with a mysterious aura. A young soldier of the kingdom decided to wield the blade and lead the remaining troops in battle.

PART III

The sword possessed immense power: it has able to fell hordes of enemies in a single swoop and invigorate the wielder's allies. This helped to turn the tide of battle in the small kingdom's favor for many years.

PART IV

After much bloodshed, the empire had to stop their conquest and a peace treaty was made between the two powers. The young soldier left the kingdom to build their own. The sword was named after the brave warrior and was never seen again.
