Usually, people can only see spirits in areas filled with heavily-concentrated malice or recently destroyed establishments. But I have the ability to encounter ghosts whenever. It doesn't happen often, but it's not something I particularly like, as they can be noisy and they always surprise me whenever they appear. As a result, I've always been jumpy when it comes to spirits. Apparently, this ability came from my mother's side; something about her side of the family being a long line of spiritual mediums or something.

Well, having the power to exorcise these spirits probably contributed to me becoming a mercenary.
